What is the Power Overload feature on my smart plug, and how can I configure it?
The Power Overload feature is designed to help protect your connected device and ensure safe energy usage. When the device connected to your smart plug exceeds a user-defined maximum wattage threshold, the smart plug will:
- Automatically cut off power by switching itself to the OFF state
- Send a push notification via the AQUILA PRO AI app to your mobile device
The Power Overload feature is enabled by default with a preset threshold. You can change this threshold or disable/enable the feature through the AQUILA PRO AI app by following these steps:
Step 1: Launch the AQUILA PRO AI app, and then log in with your D-Link account.
Step 2: Go to the location where your Smart Plug is installed, then tap on the Smart Plug to open its control page.
Step 3: Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Step 4: Select Power Overload from the settings menu.
Step 5: Enter your desired maximum wattage value and toggle the switch to ON to enable auto power-off.
