You can conveniently expand your coverage area by adding additional DCH-S163 sensors (sold separately or available with the DCH-S1621KT Water Sensor Kit).
The DCH-S163 Battery-Powered Long-Range Water Sensor Add-on operates on interference resistant Sub-GHz bands, empowering it to work in conjunction with the central hub, even from afar1.
Compact and water resistant, it can be slipped under common appliances and placed in areas of interest: the basement, garage or even your garden shed.

How it works
- Open the mydlink app, then select "Add Device" and follow the on-screen steps.
- Please your hub (DCH-S162) in a centeral location where you also need to detect leaks.
- Place Long-Range Sensors (DCH-S163) in locations of potential leaks, such as the basement, garden shed.
- Relax! Your trusty home assistant mydlink has the rest covered.
