The DXS-3130 Series includes two models, DXS-3130-28 and DXS-3130-28P, designed for organizations requiring high-throughput aggregation and core switching. Both models offer twenty-four 10G ports and four 10G/25G SFP28 ports. The DXS-3130-28P additionally supports PoE. It supports the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE++ standards, providing up to 60 W of power per port. PoE support shortens deployment time and reduces the cost of electrical installation by powering devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and access points directly over Ethernet. With a switching capacity of up to 680 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 506 Mpps, these switches provide ultra-fast data transfer and low latency, ideal for bandwidth-intensive environments like data centers, large enterprises, and service provider networks.

High-Level Layer 3 Routing Features

The DXS-3130 Series enhances enterprise networking with advanced Layer 3 features, including dynamic IPv4/IPv6 routing (OSPFv2/v3, RIPv1/v2/ng) and VRRP for high availability. It supports Policy-Based Routing (PBR), ECMP for traffic load balancing. Multicast routing features like PIM, IGMP, and MLD ensure efficient video and IPTV delivery across large networks.

High Availability and Scalability

The DXS-3130 Series supports physical stacking of up to nine units using dedicated stacking ports or SFP+ interfaces and allowing for unified management and high port density. To ensure maximum up time, the switches feature redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans for continuous operation and failover protection. Additionally, Graceful Restart minimize network downtime during routing reconvergence.

Enterprise-Grade Security and Management

The DXS-3130 Series is equipped with robust security features to safeguard network integrity and control access. It includes Access Control Lists (ACLs) for precise traffic filtering, along with 802.1X port-based authentication and support for RADIUS and TACACS+ for secure user access. To prevent Layer 2 attacks, the switches offer DHCP snooping, IP source guard, and ARP inspection. Additional features such as MAC-based VLAN, private VLAN, provide further segmentation and control across the network.

For simplified and flexible management, the DXS-3130 Series supports multiple interfaces, including an intuitive web UI, Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and RMON. It also features LLDP and sFlow to provide enhanced network visibility and diagnostics. Additionally, the switches integrate seamlessly with D-Link Nuclias Network Controller to enable centralized monitoring and control across the network.
