In the 802.11b (2.4Ghz) standard there are 13 channels (UK) tochoose from, all but three of those channels are overlappingchannels. Channels 1, 7, and 13 are the only non-overlappingchannels. The channels can be changed to avoid interference fromother wireless devices that run on the 2.4 Ghz frequency range(I.E. 2.4Ghz cordless phones and X-10).

Note: All D-Link 802.11b/802.11g Wireless devices default tochannel 6.
