Why do I see a black screen when I try to call out to another videophone unit?

There are several reasons why you would see a black screen whiletrying to make outbound calls on the DVC-1000/1100:

  • Make sure the lens cap is off.
  • Make sure port forwarding is configured correctly on yourrouter.
