When I leave the initial power-up screen my TV screen goes blank
This problem is commonly caused by using an older TV that doesnot support HDTV. If this is the case, you can change the outputformat of the DSM-330 to standard definition:
Press the 'Setup' button on the remote
Go to 'Display', then to 'Display Settings'
Select 'Standard Definition' from the options
