Demonstrating latest networking solutions and services enabling telco providers to help customers connect to more
11 октомври, 2013
D-Link is attending this year's Broadband World Forum, the world’s largest broadband event from 22 – 24 October 2013 in Amsterdam. The company will be at stand B20 in the Broadband Forum Pavilion to showcase its commitment to advancing connectivity with the latest high-speed technologies, such as VDSL and 4G LTE.
D-Link has a long history of contributing to the development of the rapidly evolving networking environment, with capabilities that many now take for granted. At the show it will demonstrate products and services that utilise the latest mobile, cloud and fixed line technologies.
This includes work with providers like Telenor to deliver 4G LTE services in Norway, alongside an extensive range of customer premise equipment. Whether it's VDSL, FTTx, DOCSIS, GPON and Wireless Carrier offload, or network infrastructure devices, D-Link enables service providers to develop and deliver innovative service offerings that improve customers' experiences and increase revenues.
"D-Link's ability to deploy feature-rich, price competitive devices in volume and on time is what makes us such a valued partner by ISPs across the world," said Kevin Wen, President of D-Link Europe Ltd.
"Despite long standing relationships with many large service providers, D-Link is still something of a 'best kept secret' in the telecoms industry. Constantly embracing the latest innovations and developments, D-Link is working closely with service providers to help people connect to more."
By working with providers around the world, D-Link can leverage developments in one area and bring them to bear in other markets.
D-Link understands that modern day ISPs are constantly looking for ways to reduce customer churn and increase revenue from subscriptions and value-added services. To help address these challenges, D-Link offers an extensive set of viable network connectivity and extension solutions, backed by stringent logistics and reliability standards.
“One of the key challenges facing telecom providers today is how to generate revenue beyond providing a standard broadband network for homes and businesses,” added Wen.
“We believe that the answer lies within the power of connected technology. For instance, a number of our IP surveillance cameras can be linked to a secure, cloud-based portal called mydlink™. This enables customers to log in remotely and monitor their homes when they are at work or travelling for peace of mind. One service provider in the UK has already taken advantage of this and is offering a unique home security package for customers whose contracts are up for renewal. They have already reported an increase in retention rates as a result of the offer.
“ISPs can also create other bundle packages with our extensive range of Wireless AC Routers, PowerLine, Smart Switches and Storage devices. At D-Link we are fully committed to helping our partners create more exciting customer experiences that offer home and business users the freedom to connect from anywhere, any time.”
D-Link experts will be available to showcase the solutions that are already a reality for a number of service providers across Europe to efficiently address the emerging challenges and opportunities of telecommunications.
