Dynamic DNS (Domain Name Service) is a method of keeping adomain name linked to a changing (dynamic) IP address. With mostCable and DSL connections, you are assigned a dynamic IP addressand that address is used only for the duration of that specificconnection. To properly configure the DDNS feature follow the stepsbelow:

Step 1 Open a web browser and type the IP addressof the DI-634M in the address bar (default is192.168.0.1).

Step 2 The default username isadmin (all lower case) and the default password isblank (nothing). Click on OK.

Step 3 Click on the Tools tab atthe top and then click on DDNS on the leftside.

Step 4 Next to DDNS select enabled andconfigure the following:

• Server Address - Select your DDNS serviceprovider.
• Host Name - Enter the domain name that youregistered with your DDNS service provider (IEmydomain.dyndns.org)
• User Name - Enter the username for your DDNSaccount
• Password - Enter the password for your DDNSaccount

Step 5 Click on Apply to saveyour changes.
