The DIR-853 is a powerful and affordable router designed for home users and small offices. The router provides very fast wireless connections up to 1300 Mbit/s, and in the event of a main link failure it enables sharing a broadband connection via a 3G / LTE modem. Thanks to MU-MIMO technology, many connected devices can simultaneously use efficient connections and transfer large files, stream video or play online without interference.
Secure connections
The firewall built into the DIR-853 and advanced technologies that increase the level of protection ensure secure data transfer and protect users against network attacks.
The router, which allows creating secure VPN tunnels (Virtual Private Network), has also been equipped with a SafeDNS / SkyDNS content filtering mechanism that allows blocking content for children or restricting access to selected services by employees. In addition, you can protect your home network against attacks by turning off the WiFi network using a special button. Devices connected via LAN cables do not lose Internet connection.
Easy configuration and several modes of operation
The work of the router can be easily adapted to your needs by means of a convenient and intuitive browser interface, allowing you to choose one of the available modes: router, access point, extender or client.

USB port
Not only a 3G/LTE modem can be connected to the USB port, also a USB printer that will be available through the network. A USB printer can be transformed into a network printer that can be accessed by anyone connected to a Wi-Fi network.
