D-Link takes top spot in European Video Surveillance market share

Market leaders in network cameras across the region, according to Context research

Underscoring its leadership in the wireless solutions market, D-Link has been recognised as the European market leader in video surveillance. According to the most recent Context SalesWatch Distribution research, on Network and CCTV Cameras, D-Link topped the market with 67.9 per cent market share by units shipped across Europe.

Context's research spans the three quarters between January to September 2014 and covers Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, the rest of the Nordics and the UK. The report tracks quarterly and aggregate market share by units and by sales.

Breaking it down by country, D-Link is the market leader in Sweden (99 per cent), the rest of the Nordics (86.9 per cent), Netherlands (83.4 per cent), Russia (80.8 per cent), Italy (76.7 per cent), Belgium (74.7 per cent), Spain (66.9 per cent), Poland (57.7 per cent), UK (44.6 per cent), Germany (36.6 per cent) and Czech Republic (34.4 per cent).
