Taipei – October 6, 2014- D-Link has again been ranked among Taiwan’s Top 20 Global Brands, according to results from brand consulting group Interbrand’s 2014 Best Global Brands survey. The ranking is based on a brand value of USD $138 million.
"We are thankful for the effort put forth by the organizers of the survey,” said D-Link head of Global Marketing Quenton Miao. “This honor highlights the challenges Taiwanese companies face to compete on a global scale coming from a relatively small market. We face a volatile global economy and harsh price competition from China, but we have been able to overcome these by keeping innovation at the core of the brand’s strategy. Additionally, we constantly try to increase the value for our customers through product quality and value-added solutions and services to keep our leadership in networking and surveillance products. Having ranked again as a top Taiwan brand, we are motivated to push for an even brighter future.”
The 2014 Taiwan Top 20 Global Brands survey was organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, and conducted by Interbrand and the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research. Its evaluation system is based on Interbrand's annual "Best Global Brands" ranking, applying quantitative financial analysis and qualitative role-of-brand and brand-strength analyses to assess a brand's true value.
