Business Surveillance relaunch – D-Link’s NVR 4k camera systems for safety & security

Security cameras that safeguard businesses. Vandal and weather-proof. Check on your business from anywhere, reliable, rugged, 24/7

Video cameras have become a key part of the security strategy for businesses and home – they provide great peace of mind. Headline figures have revealed that over 250,000 domestic burglaries occurred in both England and Wales throughout the 12 month period, a noticeable percentage increase of 8%, from figures released at the same time last year.

Since security cameras are used to make insurance claims and reports of workplace incidents, car accidents, and more to the police after the fact, its imperative in this day and age to have valuable footage to use that can actually identify any perpetrators.

D-Link security cameras are designed to make business operations easier, weather and vandal proof, giving you peace of mind, keep you in the know with instant event notification alerts for emergencies. D-Link lenses use high-quality glass for superior images. Capturing details at distance like facial or number plate recognition, monitor areas with difficult lighting conditions, even in complete darkness, 24/7 monitoring and recording, in full HD clarity.

The world of IP surveillance systems has a new benchmark: 4K security cameras. Also known as 8-megapixel (8MP), 2020’s benchmark resolution for high-quality security cameras deliver crystal clear quality and the ability to capture even the smallest details like faces and license plates from far distances. Providing 3840 x 2160 resolution, 4K surveillance cameras deliver about four times the video clarity as 1920 x 1080 or 1080p systems.

It is key to choose a manufacturer provider with a complete IP Surveillance solution, including cameras, network video recorders, and network infrastructure - for round-the-clock security and monitoring, whether for a small shop or larger businesses with multiple sites.

It's all about Lens and Image quality

With the technological advances in digital security cameras and sensors, the image quality included in digital cameras is far superior compared to analogue-based security technology, and has the ability to deliver a clear, improved view of an area regardless of the conditions.

Introducing the STARVIS lens technology, is back-illuminated pixel technology used in CMOS image sensors for security camera applications. It features a sensitivity of 2000 mV or more per 1 µm2 (colour product, when imaging with a 706 cd/m2 light source, F5.6 in 1 s accumulation equivalent), and realises high picture quality in the visible-light and near infrared light regions. This technology enables both the light and dark regions to be captured clearly to achieve higher security camera visual recognition performance.

Unlike the front-illuminated-type image sensor, the image is acquired through the back side where there are no obstacles such as wiring or circuits, so a wider range of light is collected on the photodiode, achieving high sensitivity. Moreover, it uses the very first pixel specifically developed for security use in a back-illuminated structure.

NVR & VMS solutions

Consumers want a convenient and affordable way to record feeds in the cloud and locally. Surveillance systems can help prevent intrusions and they are easy to install. NVR and VMS security solutions provide PoE, HD detailed images both during the day and night vision.

There are a number of options available in the market but either all-in-one NVR or VMS server support the use of NAS (network attached storage), are the most desirable solution, because they have the capability to store and produce high-quality images with clear picture clarity, with detailed images, you can easily see and identify objects.

NVR (Network Video Recorder) is the network attached device that records, stores and plays back video streams from CCTV cameras. The camera comes with remote playback and in-built upto 16TB Hard Disk, with backup options to HDD or USB 3.0 drives. You can record videos for a period of ten days without the need for overwriting.

Add extra dome or bullet cameras. Additionally, the cameras have smart motion alerts and the cameras run simultaneously 24/7, Supports Camera Management, Live View, playback of up to 20 channel recordings using the Nuclias Protect APP.
