My mobile device will not connect to the wifi network of my DIR product.

The Wi-Fi Alliance has directed the WiFi industry to phase out support for WEP, as it is an obsolete insecure method of encryption. Manufacturers are now removing WEP support from devices.
It is strongly advised that you log in to your DIR device, and alter your WiFi encryption from WEP to WPA-Personal.
