DCS-8526LH IF Design award 2020

D-Link, a global leader in home security and surveillance solutions, has been awarded this year’s world-renowned iF Design Award in the TV/ Cameras category for its mydlink Full HD Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8526LH).

Announced earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas, the mydlink Full HD Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera includes advanced features such as auto motion tracking and edge-based person detection. The camera also provides a 360° horizontal view with 340° pan / 105° tilt, panorama view angle selection and a night vision capability, which ensure maximum movement is captured at all times.

Additionally, the camera allows for physical privacy mode and is equipped with the latest 128-bit wireless encryption, to ensure data passed over Wi-Fi is kept secure. The mydlink Full HD Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera won over a 78-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world.

The iF Design Awards are hosted by the world’s oldest independent design organisation, iF International Forum Design GmbH based in Hannover. This year over 7,298 entries were submitted from 56 countries.

More information about the DCS-8526LH can be found in the “Winners” section of the iF World Design Guide.
