D-Link has announced it is hosting a series of nationwide ‘on the road’ events to help resellers understand the IP Surveillance market opportunity and how they can grow their business in this area.

On show will be an array of network switches, ranging from unmanaged and smart switches, to fully managed devices including Power over Ethernet (PoE) and auto surveillance VLAN (ASV). A broad range of IP cameras for all applications (including indoor/outdoor, day/night, PoE/wireless) will be demonstrated and storage solutions such as D-Link’s JustConnect NVR – a single unit comprising an NVR and PoE switch that simplifies IP based installations.

During the event hands on workshops will take place with the aim of demystifying the marketplace with its wide array of cameras, encoders, video management systems, network storage and the infrastructure required to deliver a robust solution. As one of the few vendors that can offer the complete end-to-end solution, both in terms of the infrastructure required, as well as hands-on support to help resellers deliver it, D-Link aims to demonstrate the opportunity available in this rapidly growing marketplace.
