Note: The DWC-1000 will be able to manage the DWL-3600AP, DWL-6600AP, and DWL-8600AP models.Step 1: Connect the desired access point(s) to the network. The access point will pull an IP address from the network via DHCP, or you may set a static IP on the AP.
Step 2: Log into the setup page of the DWC-1000.
Step 3: Click on the
Status tab.
Step 4: Click on
Access Point Info, and
APs Summary.
Step 5: Select the checkbox for the desired AP in the
List of APs. Click on the
Manage button.
Step 6: The
AP Mode field should be set to Managed in the
Valid AP section. A description of the AP location may be added, authentication password (not required by default), and select the desired AP Profile in the Profile dropdown. When setting have been configured, click on the Save Settings button.
Step 7: The status on the
APs Summary page will change when the controller has pushed the current configuration to the access point(s).
