D-Link is eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones and delivering wireless signals to those hard-to-reach areas in the home or small office for seamless video streaming, online gaming and other everyday Internet activities with the launch of the Wireless AC750 Dual-Band Range Extender (DAP-1520).

Easy to set up, the repeater simply needs to be plugged into a power outlet anywhere in the home to instantly extend a wireless network. The Wireless AC750 Dual-Band Range Extender fits in the palm of a hand making it discreet and out-of-sight.

As well as the ability to further extend Wireless AC networks, for added flexibility, the extender is backwards compatible, enabling users to extend the reach of their existing Wi-Fi network even if it is using previous Wi-Fi technology.

"Wireless AC offers a host of advances that brings faster speeds and reduces wireless dead spots, but even still a basement or shed may be out of reach of a signal. The Wireless AC750 Dual-Band Range Extender provides an answer to this problem," said Kevin Wen, president of D-Link Europe Ltd. "D-Link’s latest extender offers Wireless AC speeds and is backwards compatible, so users don't have to worry if not every device is Wireless AC-enabled. This provides a quick, easy and secure boost to your current network, enabling you to use a range of mobile devices and even add dual-band connectivity to an existing home network."

The Wireless AC750 Dual-Band Range Extender delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 750Mbps. It also allows users to add 5 GHz connectivity to a single band network with the push of a button. This allows 5 GHz capable wireless devices to be connected to the less congested 5 GHz wireless frequency band, reducing potential wireless interference.

Setup is simple with the one-touch connection through Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) or the built-in setup wizard within the intuitive touch screen enhanced web-based user interface. Users can also configure and personalise their extended wireless network through the web-based user interface or D-Link's free Quick Router Setup (QRS) Mobile app, all without switching on a computer.
