Packed with Artificial Intelligence (AI), the company’s newest surveillance camera captures footage in real-time with incredible resolution and 360-degree coverage, all of which can be centrally managed with the mydlink app from anywhere, at any time. 

With AI-based detection, the 2K QHD Pan & Zoom Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera can intelligently identify human and vehicle shaped objects as well as the sound of breaking glass. Detection automatically triggers video recording to a microSD card or the cloud. An in-built microphone and speaker allows for two-way communication and the sounding of a 90dB siren to ward off intruders. 

Ideal for both home and small office protection, either indoors or outdoors, the new launch provides incredibly detailed 2K QHD 1440p video streaming and built-in night vision, allowing visibility up to 7m – even in darkness. Additionally, the remote-controlled motorised panning feature offers 360-degree coverage, ensuring nothing goes amiss. 

The 2K QHD Pan & Zoom Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera can be fitted wherever required, thanks to its robust and weatherproof IP65-rated design, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. The camera comes with accessories that enable it to be wall, ceiling or pole mounted for added flexibility and ease of placement. What’s more, thanks to built-in H.265 High Efficiency Video Coding support, network and internet utilisation is kept to a minimum, even when viewing and recording at 2K QHD resolution.  

The DCS-8635LH is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice command and hands-free control. With ONVIF Profile S support, you can record continuously to a compatible NAS or NVR. It also supports the latest WPA3 Wi-Fi encryption to provide a more secure connection. Featuring a simple, rapid Bluetooth setup, users can be up and running in minutes and benefit from remote viewing, video playback and management via the free mydlink app.
