PoE for Unstoppable Power Stability

The DXS-3130-28P supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) across IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at PoE+, and IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standards, delivering up to 60W per port. It also offers Perpetual PoE and Fast PoE.

The DXS-3130-28P features a 790 W PoE power budget which can be increased to 1440 W when outfitted with dual power supplies, that can power up even more devices.

PoE simplifies the deployment of IP cameras, VoIP phones, Wireless Access Points, and other powered devices through a standard Ethernet that eliminates the cost for additional electrical cabling.

Perpetual PoE

Delivers uninterrupted power to connected powered devices(PD) even when the power sourcing equipment (PSE) switch is booting.

Fast PoE

Enables the switch to supply power to connected endpoint devices in a relatively short time without waiting for the operating system to boot up.

PD-Alive

The PD-Alive feature is perfect for IP surveillance networks to monitor the status of connected powered devices and verify their activity.

Scale your network with the DXS-3130-28P by combining multiple switches into a single physical or virtual stack. The stacking function simplifies management, enhances redundancy, and allows you to control the entire stack with a single IP address across multiple physical units.

Physical stacking supports up to nine switches with 200Gbps of stacking bandwidth per device, enabling seamless scalability as network demands grow.

It supports hot-swappable internal redundant power supplies and incorporates essential reliability features including 802.1D Spanning Tree (STP), Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) ,and Loopback Detection (LBD) to enhance network resilience.

With Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), recovery time can be minimized to just 50 ms. Loopback Detection prevents accidental port shutdowns, ensuring continuous operation. The DXS-3130-28P maintains a secure and highly reliable network for your critical infrastructure.
