The DWL-AG700AP features WPA-PSK and 64/128/152-bit WEP Encryption to provide security for wireless data communications. This dual-band Access point is Wi-Fi certified in both 802.11a and 802.11g.

D-Link®, an industry leader in networking, introduces the new D-Link AirPlus™ AG DWL-AG700AP Wireless AG Access Point. With the ability to concurrently distribute maximum bandwidth in both 802.11a and 802.11g, the DWL-AG700AP enables dualband wireless access for your home network.

The DWL-AG700AP Wireless AG Access Point is Wi-Fi certified in both 802.11a and 802.11g bands, so you can be sure that it will work with your existing wireless network devices and clients. This Wireless AG Access Point operates at full speed in both frequencies, so heavy use in one network will not reduce performance in the other. With concurrent dualband operation, get the benefits of two wireless networks using one device.

Dualband wireless technology enables two wireless networks to be created in order to better segment traffic and distribute bandwidth. By enabling a network with dual wireless functionality, use the 802.11g band for general usage, such as web surfing and transferring files, while using the 802.11a band to stream wireless media to your entertainment system. Since the 802.11a band operates on a different frequency than common household appliances, this network ensures smooth audio and video transfers even during heavy data usage.

With its web-based setup wizard, the DWL-AG700AP ensures that you will be up and running on a wireless network in just a matter of minutes. The DWL-AG700AP also includes an embedded DHCP server that can automatically assign IP addresses to wireless clients.

The DWL-AG700AP Wireless AG Access Point features
WPA-PSK and 64/128/152-bit WEP Encryption to provide security for wireless data communications. The DWL-AG700AP also includes additional security features to keep your wireless connection safe from unauthorized access.

With easy-to-use web-based management and simultaneous dualband operation, the DWL-AG700AP is the right choice for creating dualband wireless connectivity to your network.

* Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11a and 802.11g specifications. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead, lower actual data throughput rate. Environmental factors will adversely affect wireless signal range.
