The D-Link MediaLounge™ DSM-120 Wireless Music Player frees digital music from the confines of your computer. Stream an entire music library over an 802.11g wireless or wired Ethernet network to your home theater system using the DSM-120.

Standing a mere eight inches tall and only an inch and a half thick (without included stand), the DSM-120 is compact enough to feel right at home on a bookshelf, night stand, or kitchen counter. The sleek silver and black design with a tinted glass front radiates with style, making the DSM-120 a plush addition to mount on a wall.

Find and listen to any song on a computer in your network with ease using the included remote control and easy-to-read LCD screen. Explore new music genres by streaming Internet radio stations from around the world1.

For stand-alone operation, a 2.5” internal IDE drive can be installed. Transfer songs onto the drive and enjoy music even when your PC is turned off. Alternatively, you can simply attach a USB flash drive to the DSM-120 and play music directly from the drive2. The DSM-120 comes with D-Link Media Server Software and an easy to use utility that simplifies the transfer of music from a PC to the DSM-120’s optional hard drive2. You can also use One-touch Copy to transfer music from a USB drive to the internal hard drive2.

MUSIC VARIATIONS

The DSM-120 gives you multiple audio output options including a stereo mini-jack, optical audio out, and composite audio. Simply connect your favorite pair of multimedia speakers3 and enjoy. Or connect the DSM-120 to a home theater A/V receiver and enjoy your tunes on your home entertainment system. The DSM-120 supports Windows Media® Connect4 and Windows Media Digital Rights Management (WMDRM-10), programs that allow for streaming copy-protected WMA-based music. Along with playing WMA and MP3 files stored on your computer5, the DSM-120 includes many useful features such as an alarm clock6 and sleep timer. Get your day started with something upbeat or drift off to sleep with a relaxing melody.

A built-in Setup Wizard makes the setup process a breeze. You can configure the DSM-120’s wireless settings directly through the LCD interface using the included remote control. Or for an even simpler process, configure the DSM-120’s wireless settings on your PC using Windows® Connect Now, and then transfer the settings to the DSM-120 using a USB flash drive.
