The D-Link DSB-H4 is a 4-port Universal Serial Bus USB hub that allows a user to connect up to four USB peripherals or devices to their USB ready PC or iMac.

The D-Link DSB-H4 is a 4-port Universal Serial Bus USB hub that allows a user to connect up to four USB peripherals or devices to their USB ready PC or iMac. It provides an out of the box industry standard Bus. The DSB-H4 is targeted at PC and iMac users that are expanding the number of USB ports on their system.

Seamless Connections
The DSB-H4 is designed to provide quick and easy access to the four type "A" downstream ports for connecting peripherals with USB support, other USB hubs and devices. A single type "B" upstream port is provided for connecting to the host computer, or another USB hub. Configured directly by the operating system, the DSB-H4 operates seamlessly with both Microsoft's OpenHCI and Intel's UniversalHCI.

Low and High Speeds Supported with Data Buffering
As a standard USB hub it buffers USB data from any attached peripherals or devices in compliance with USB Specification version 1.1 to provide an invisible extension of the USB bus. Supporting both low speed 1.5 Mbps devices and high speed 12 Mbps* devices, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer.

Flexible Power, Flexible Solution

Power for the DSB-H4 can be provided directly from the USB bus for connection of up to four low-powered USB devices. When using the included AC adapter in self-powered mode, the DSB-H4 can support up to four high-powered USB devices or up to four downstream bus-powered USB hubs.

Feature Rich and Easy to Use
Diagnostic LED's are mounted on the top of the device to provide the user with power state and port status. The DSB-H4 is packaged with all necessary manuals, a 6-foot USB 'A' to 'B' cable, and a AC power supply to ensure that the user is able to easily and quickly install and use the device.
