Integrated USB 2.0 and Firewire

The DFB-A5 is a 2-port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and 3-port 1394 Firewire combo PCI adapter for desktop computers. The DFB-A5 is designed to work with DV camcorders, mice, keyboards, external CD-R/RW's, external hard drives, PC cameras, and any other USB or Firewire enabled device. It is 40 times faster than previous USB adapters with Hi-Speed USB 2.0 support and supports up to 400Mbps with integrated Firewire in one convenient upgrade package for desktop computers.

2-Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0

Each of the two USB 2.0 ports transfers data at 480Mbps* (Megabits per second), making it ideal for external storage, backup, networking and digital video. The DFB-A5 is certified to USB 2.0 standards and is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and USB 1.1.

3-Port Firewire (1394)

The DFB-A5's three Firewire ports support transfer rates up to 400Mbps, making it ideal for home video editing using Digital Video (DV) ready camcorders and external storage solutions. With the bundled video editing software, the DFB-A5 offers a complete DV editing package perfect for any home video enthusiast.
