The D-Link® DCS-6111 Day & Night Camera with WDR Sensor is designed for professional around-the-clock surveillance. It uses a Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) VGA Progressive CMOS sensor for better performance under various lighting conditions, delivering exceptional picture quality. The WDR provides the DCS-6111 the capability to capture high resolution, detailed images in high contrast lighting conditions and significantly improves the quality of real-time videos. The DCS-6111 is equipped with D-Link’s System-on-Chip (SoC) products to provide high quality video compression in MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG formats. It also incorporates varifocal lens with IR LEDs to offer enhanced flexibility and enhanced security, making it the ideal solution for 24/7 hour surveillance.

Wide Dynamic Range Applications
The DCS-6111 is recommended for extreme high contrast environments. The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function of the camera provides clear image seven in backlit scenes where intensity of illumination can vary excessively. For example, when placed on the inside of the room, the DCS-6111 will be able to see through the intense sunlight or coming in from the windows.

Various Installation Methods
The DCS-6111 has a unique built-in three axis mechanism that can be drop-mounted from the ceiling for an unobtrusive look, or mounted on a wall, all with the same housing design. Combined with tamper-resistant casing, the DCS-6111 is a fixed dome solution that makes monitoring discreet and protects against tampering.

Additional Features
The DCS-6111 comes with audio ports allowing 2-way audio communication2 when an external microphone and speaker is connected and even includes an audio on/off switch to ensure privacy when needed. The DCS-6111 also comes with a built-in Samba client for NAS so there is no need for a direct connection to a PC or any other hardware or software to capture and transfer images. Equipped with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) support3, the DCS-6111 can receive both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, allowing you the freedom to place the camera anywhere without being anchored to a power outlet.

Multiple Streaming
The DCS-6111 supports simultaneous streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video to provide both high quality and bandwidth efficient compression formats. MJPEG delivers greater file integrity, making it ideal for detailed monitoring situations. MPEG-4 has smaller file sizes, making it more useful for extended recording periods or for use in low bandwidth networks.

3GPP Mobile Surveillance
Support for 3GPP Mobile Surveillance allows you to view a live video feed from your compatible Internet ready mobile phone with a 3GPP player installed. This extends your monitoring capability without requiring the use of a computer, allowing you to check your camera’s video feed while on-the-go.

Convenient Management
The included D-Link D-ViewCam™ software enables you to manage up to 32 network cameras, set e-mail alert notifications, set recording schedules, and trigger motion detection to record directly to your hard drive. D-ViewCam also allows you to upload a floor plan of your business and create a realistic layout of where your cameras are located, further simplifying the management process.
