What is the SmartConsole Utility which is provided with D-Link Web Smart Series Switches?
The SmartConsole Utility is a configuration wizard that easily allows customers to discover multiple D-Link web smart switches within the same L2 network segment connected to user’s local PC.
Specialized for D-Link Web Smart Switch series, it provides easy initial setting of smart switches. Using this wizard, the administrator can do the following task:
- View events log and traps
- Do some configurations for any D-Link Switch discovered by SmartConsole Utility
- Change the device password for any D-Link Switch discovered by SmartConsole Utility
- Firmware Upgrade
