How do I upgrade the firmware for my 1210 Series Smart Switch?

In order to login and configure the switch via an Ethernet connection, the PC must have an IP address in the same subnet as the switch. 1210 series switch default IP is 10.90.90.90.

Via GUI
Step 1: Open a Web Browser and login to the Web-Based configuration. Click Tools => Firmware Backup & Upgrade.



Step 2: You can choose upgrading the firmware through HTTP or TFTP.



Note: Upgrade procedure is used to local not remote side users.

Via Smart Console Utility
Step 1: Install the utility.

Step 2: Click on the utility icon.



Step 3: Click Discovery.



Step 4: Select the item that you would like to upgrade the firmware.



Step 5: Click on the icon.



Step 6: Choose the Path and enter the password (Default is admin) and then click on Upgrade
