How do I add a camera in D-View Cam v3.x?

Step 1: Launch the D-ViewCam Main Console.



Step 2: Click General Settings and click Settings




Step 3: Click on the Camera tab select either Search or Insert

• Search- D-ViewCam will scan your network looking for your available Cameras
• Insert- User must manually enter the Camera information (IP address,make,model etc.)

Step 4: If Choosing Search, click the Start Scan button to initiate the Search. Select each camera, enters its username and password (if any) and click OK




Insert

Step 5: If choosing Insert, you will need to manually enter the camera details.

Note: If the camera is located at a remote DNS address select the check box for DNS and enter the DNS address name.



Your Camera(s) should now be visible.
