1-year Cloud Management subscription renewal for the CloudCommand Access Points

DS-810

Overview

The D-Link AirPremier® N Dual Band, PoE Access Point powered by CloudCommand™ (DAP-2555) is Internet-based software for management. This pioneering cloud architecture makes monitoring and configuring APs a quick and easy task that can be completed from anywhere. This AP is designed to bridge the gap between easy-to-use consumer-grade and enterprise-grade features and robustness. The AirPremier® N Dual Band, PoE Access Point is targeted to meet the required organizational needs, without the high cost, complexity nor overheads that are commonly associated with traditional business solutions.

Easy Setup

AirPremier® N Dual Band, PoE Access Point is simple to setup, requiring only a web browser; no need to use software from a CD or log into firmware pages. Unlike traditional hardware, these APs can be pre-set before they are installed, the configuration can be done from any PC that is connected to the D-Link web portal. This permits the APs to be shipped preconfigured to their final location for easier deployment, eliminating the need to have IT expertise on-site. The only thing remaining is the physical installation, it’s as easy as powering up the APs and connecting them to a network.

Administer Anywhere

With APs in multiple locations, the DAP-2555 gives users the power to administer them from anywhere. Other solutions may provide remote management but require the administrators to update and configure each of them individually. Save time and resources using DAP-2555 to make changes to all the APs at the same time. Access is as simple as opening a web browser and logging in to your account. Make changes, view statistical graphs, reports on network usage, view history and traffic all from your central office or while on the road. Additionally, Cloud Access Points can also send notifications to an email address or by text message.

Secure Access

In addition to the traditional WPA encryption standard for secure access that other solutions offer, the DAP-2555 takes the additional step and binds the MAC address of each client automatically with the access Access Points system, further increasing the security mechanism. This allows for easier management of network access privileges on an individual basis, giving administrators the ability to quickly add and remove users without having to constantly change security keys; a challenge that other solutions have today. Administrators can also select to send individual network keys to users by email or text message.

Reduce Cost of Ownership

DAP-2555 provides everything an administrator needs to remotely manage networks, removing the hassle of maintaining costly on-site IT support. By utilizing the Internet, the DAP-2555 has made management of APs through physical controllers no longer necessity, reducing network infrastructure cost. Prepare to save money and resources by implementing the DAP-2555 in your business.
