Full HD in an Aesthetic Indoor Dome

A great fit for retail, hospitality, education and general indoor surveillance, the DCS-6112 Dome IP Camera features 2 megapixel resolution (Full 1080p HD) and H.264 compression that enable high-quality video footage to be recorded. The DCS-6112 features a 3-axis gimbal that allows for flexible installation and lens positioning and it also has a built-in microSD card slot which can be used for local backup by storing important events on a retrievable microSD card.

Multiple Video Streams

The DCS-6112 supports simultaneous streaming of H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG video to provide both high-quality and bandwidth efficient compression formats. H.264 produces a small file size, making it useful for extended recording with high detail or for use in low bandwidth networks. MJPEG delivers excellent file integrity, ideal for situations which require extensive image detail. The DCS-6112 supports multiple independent streaming profiles, each with its own resolution, frame rate and codec.

Tamper Detection

Anti-tamper features make the DCS-6112 suitable for tamper-prone locations. The electronic tamper detection system can sense whenever the camera has been redirected, defocused, blocked or spray-painted, and respond promptly with a notification.

Flexible Connectivity

The DCS-6112 includes input and output ports for connectivity to external devices such as IR sensors, switches, and alarm relays. It also incorporate Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to be easily installed in a variety of locations without the need for supplemental power cabling.

The included D-Link D-ViewCam™ is sophisticated software which enables you to manage up to 32 network cameras, set e-mail alert notifications, create recording schedules, and trigger motion detection to record directly to your hard drive. D-ViewCam™ also allows you to upload a floor plan of your business, and create a realistic layout according to the locations of your cameras, further simplifying the management process.

Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) compliant

The Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) is a global standard for open IP video networking. The DCS-6112 is ONVIF compliant and therefore interoperable with other manufacturer’s ONVIF compliant Video Management Software and NVRs.
