Wireless HD Media Player (DSM-520) Our house, you might say, is a D-Link house. The D-Link name can be found attached to all aspects of our home network. The DSM-520 is the crown jewell. I can watch my Videos as well as listen to music anywhere in the house. I have it set so it will play videos on all the TVs. As I love music, I listen to it a lot during the day. The D-Link® MediaLounge™ DSM-520 is set to play in everyroom as well as through wireless speakers and wireless headphones. The D-Link name is top of the line in my book. I have never had on problem with the equipment I own. The way that the folks at D-Link help with updates and upgrades is a very BIG PLUS in my book and should be one of the factors you should check out when buying products for your home Network. Thanks, Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) In short, I just wanted to give my thanks for D-Link in making such a wonderful home router, D-LINK DIR-655. I just purchased this product and I must say I am astounded and pleased with this particular product. Its features alone are worth its price. Anyhow, D-Link now has me as a loyal customer from that of [competitor] due to my terrible experiences with their routers. Thanks D-Link. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) I have a [competitor]'s ADSL modem router with 802.llg. Wanting to stream hi-def video around the house without drilling through the three foot thick walls of our house built in 1802 I really needed (a) a much stronger signal and (b) greater bandwidth with steady throughput. I plugged in the DIR-655 to the old modem router. It connected to the modem without issues. I now stream voice, video and data to the far reaches of the house - smooth as silk - no judder, no errors. It's great for on-line gaming - no "frag-lag". And for VPN tunnelling - works no problem. It just does what is does - no hassle. Easy to set up. The deciding factor on whether to buy or not to buy - was being able to talk to D-Link's friendly pre-sales team who answered all my very technical questions - no call centres! Mark S. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655), Xtreme N Desktop Adapter (DWA-552) I purchased the DIR-655 router and DWA-552 adapter today. This was one of the easiest installations I've ever encountered since working with computers starting way back with a Commadore 128. I just wish everything could be so easy. I never write to companies but I was so highly impressed with the easy installtion, I just had to let you know. The instructions were a breeze to follow. Charles R. RangeBooster G Multifunction Print Server (DPR-1260) This is a must have. I have two multifunction printers and they work perfectly fine. PowerLine HD Ethernet Adapter (DHP-300) These things [DHP-300] are AMAZING!!! I could not believe how simple it was to install. I was testing two adapters for work purposes, to take it home to test the download speed via ADSL and Wi-Fi. I told my boss that I'm not returning them. They're fantastic! Sharief S. Wireless HD Media Player (DSM-520) This thing rocks! I hooked it up... supplied it with the HDMI cable to my TV... and I decided to hard wire the unit to my D-Link router. I have watched several movies on it. Listened to music and I have been able to show off photos. I also was able to watch online media, like music videos and movies that I can download. RangeBooster G Router (WBR-2310), RangeBooster G USB Adapter (WUA-2340) I bought the D-Link WBR-2310 wireless router and the WUA-2340 USB adapter, and I am quite pleased with both!!! My 1st purchase was a [competitor] wireless router and an USB adapter. I spent countless hours on the phone with them and was never able to get the wireless USB adapter to work. D-Link worked right out of the box after running the set up cd's and all I needed to call for help was to set up the security. What a big difference in products!!! Keep up the great work!Sincerely "one happy customer", Broadband Gigabit Gaming Router (DGL-4100) I just wanted to let you guys know how satisfied I am with this router. The speeds are insane, even when multitasking with my P2P applications, downloading stuff on Xbox Live Marketplace and surfing the net. I had been using a basic [competitor] router for about a year and I could never fully utilize my speed because I have Optimum Online Boost (30mb download; 5mb upload). Now with your router, I have no load times and the transfer speeds are way beyond what I thought I could do. Xtreme N Notebook ExpressCard (DWA-643), Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655), Xtreme N Notebook Adapter (DWA-652) I have owned a [competitor's] router for 3 years now. I was receiving poor connections and dropped calls on my VoIP phone. I started to do research online and decided to give your product a try. I am so pleased to say the installation was effortless. The speed is extremely GREAT!!! My laptop was still slow so I drove back the next day to buy the [Xtreme N] notebook card. It would not load at first because it was not Vista compatible. I called your number and was able to get an address to load the drivers from your support site. Downloaded and installed in a few minutes and BAM!!! 4 full bars... and speed I have never seen before. I will ONLY say great things about D-Link products and service. 2nd to NONE !! Thank you for putting out such a great product. After upgrading my old D-Link router to the DIR-655 for more power and speed, I was amazed to see all the extra features and custom settings. RangeBooster G Multifunction Print Server (DPR-1260) I purchased a [competitor] print server and couldn't get it to see my printers. I was on chat-line with their tech support rep for over an hour without getting it to work by the time I was off the phone. The next day, I went searching for this product and bought it. The setup was SO easy, I was up and running in about 10 minutes. I set up 2 PC desktops (running XP), 1 PC laptop (running Vista) and 1 Macintosh laptop to print to my HP Laserjet 1200 and my wifes Photosmart 7600 printer. No sweat at all. GREAT PRODUCT and Great Price too!! Russ W. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) I bought the DIR-655 brand new off of eBay last week and upon it's arrival within 15 minutes I was up an running. This by far has been one of the easiest routers to set up and configure. I have not yet purchased the DWA-652 adapter yet, so I am still using the old "G" protocol laptop adapter by [competitor] and it works great. Once I purchase the DWA-652 I will be able to take advantage of the MIMO technology. Thanks for an awesome product!!! Paul C. 3G Mobile Router for UMTS/HSDPA Networks (DIR-451) This is the coolest item since sliced bread. I was able to take it out of the box, plug in the power cord, connect the router to the laptop, insert the mobile broadband card and be up and running in less than 15 min. So far this product is exceeding my expectations in performance and simplicity of use. Mikel M. Wireless 108G Gaming Router (DGL-4300) Absolutely fantastic router. My [competitor's router] isn't good enough to even stand next to the DGL-4300. Paul G. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) DIR-655 router works great with ps3. I have tried 5 different routers and none worked and always got (nat3) rating. I set up DIR-655 and it went to (nat2). I didn't even have to open up a new port. Ps3 went to different address automatically. Good product! David T. PowerLine HD Network Starter Kit (DHP-301) My sisters built a house about 15 years ago and have radiant heat flooring....translates into wireless networking doesn't like concrete. This presented a problem for networking computers between the two floors. I tried everything short of drilling holes in the floor. I tried signal boosters, range expanders but not a hope. How great after all this time to find something that can and does work. My sisters are happy now that they can share an internet connection instead of having ADSL and Cable to connect their computers to the internet. Sheila C. Right out of the box with the installation CD, I could see D-link's installation was more thorough, and that made me satisfied. The support software is right on and makes the router extremely user friendly. Even now my internet speeds are faster than ever! I'm sold! Making a raid network storage this affordable and this perfect. 2 days prior to buying the DNS-323, I have tried [competitor's product] and it was absolutely a horrible product that had almost none of the features DNS-323 provided. I have absolutely fell in love with my D-Link DNS-323. Ability to set various raid types, ability to connect my printer and free up a port on my computer, reliability, Microsoft windows network share folder access, ftp access, and very important - web-based control panel. I honestly see this product as one of my best purchases ever. James R. Wireless G Router (WBR-1310) I am writing to inform you of the excellent experience I recently had installing a new WBR-1310 wireless G router. I had an existing wireless network, but it was only capable of 802.11b, and I am getting a new computer, so I wanted to upgrade it to 802.11g. I have previously unsuccessfully tried to install both a [competitor 1] and [competitor 2] routers to replace my existing network, which should have been just a simple "swap out" procedure. However, neither of their products were able to successfully restore my network to its previous set up. I had basically given up on upgrading my network until I saw the D-Link WBR-1310 on sale at Fry's electronics, and my partner suggested that I give it a try. I liked the design and style of the unit, so I decided to try and upgrade my network one last time. I am elated to say that I was completely successful on the first try! The set up disc had an option for people, such as myself, who were replacing existing networks. (Neither of the previous products had this option.) Furthermore, after the network was set up and I could not figure out how to activate WEP security, I called the technical support department and was given excellent customer service, which allowed me to configure WEP on my new D-Link router. I am completely sold on D-Link products and will recommend them to friends and family, and will, of course purchase them first when I need networking products in the future. Thank you for such a great experience, D-Link. It is such a relief to have my new "G" network up and running successfully! Best Regards, High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Internet Camera (DCS-5300G) I originally bought this cam [DCS 5300G], after reading a review in PC Mag. Security companies were just too expensive, not to mention a never ending monthly fee! but after installing the DCS-5300G in my salon... totally by myself... I don't know how I ever lived without it! It's set up to record every customer that comes in. This has come in handy without a few "problem clients" that need police assistance. It has also been an invaluable tool to fight against employee theft. Pictures don't lie... Especially at unemployment hearings! I highly recommend the DCS-5300G and hope to try the 6000 series soon. I have had 4 routers in the past from different companies and this one by far is the best. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) [edited] We're die hard [competitor] fans, but after using the [competitor's wireless product line], we found switching to the D-Link Xtreme was a big improvement. We're running two PC's with VPN (problem for [competitor]), three MacBooks, one Apple TV, and lately two iPhones with the D-Link Xtreme. No problems, works great! Very Fast and very good range. Ironic that even the Apple TV likes the D-Link better. We still love [competitor], but no question that D-Link does wireless better. Bob P. Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) The packaging of the Xtreme N DIR-655 states easy installation - and they meant it. I have no experience with wireless cards or technology, yet I was up and running in about 5 minutes. It was so fast I thought I missed something. I have a large single story home and I had great reception in every part of the house. Awesome router. Patrick J. I have purchased 2 products from D-Link and both have been a pleasure to install and your customer support on both products has been terrific. I first purchased a wireless print server to work with my [competitor] router. The print server worked great, but, the [competitor] router was continually having to upgrade its firmware. This was causing problems with my network and with the print server. After seeing how easy it was to deal with and to contact your technical support and how simple your print server was to install, I decided to purchase a D-Link router as well rather than continuing to have problems with [competitor]. Sincerely, Wireless G Router (WBR-1310) An excellent product [WBR-1310]. I bought it for my home network so my wife and I could use our laptops anywhere in the house. Peter F. 3G Mobile Router for EV-DO Networks (DIR-450) Just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with my new DIR-450 wireless broadband router. I have it couplet to a Sprint Sierra AC 595 and this combo is at lease 3 t0 5 time more responsive on the Internet than the Hughes 7000 satellite system I was previously using. I have 4 systems and Windows Home server (Beta 2) on the router (cascaded switch too), all running as expected. I sold the idea to a member of my family in Austin (too far out for DSL ot Cable). He is up and running too. Thanks for a really good product. Clifford D. 10/100/1000 Gigabit Desktop PCI Adapter (DGE-530T) I am running Ubuntu 7.04 and installed the DGE-530T No setup or extra drivers were required, it just works great right out of the box! Charles H. RangeBooster G Multifunction Print Server (DPR-1260) I’m very impressed so far with the DRP 1260, flawless setup and operation, more than happy and surprised. While I do not have any MFP's I do have a HP Photosmart 145 and a HP 970cxi, both of which work great. After reading about the scanner functionality and how it works, it dawned on me that it would be a really nice feature if you could present the memory card reader on the Photosmart 145 via the web page as a directory with downloadable links for the files on the memory card. Another option would be to present the card reader as a file share and essentially use the 1260 as a file server in addition to a print server. Just an idea. It's a real pleasure to use and see all your work move fast. Ramiro A. Skype™ USB Phone Adapter (DPH-50U) This product [DPH-50U] is very easy to use and allows you to use all the features, at least in my case, that you normally use. Even with SKYPE calls, the answering machine allows leaving a message, conference calls, cal waiting, and et al. This works perfect with SKYPE. If you have an old computer or a computer on which you may leave SKYPErunning, the phone will allow SKYPE users to leave you a message. When you have contacts that are widespread and international, this is a very common sense solution. Luther H. Wireless G Router (WBR-1310) Wow, this router [WBR-1310] was ever easy to install. I had the network up and running within 20 minutes by just following the directions on the CD and never needed any help at all. I have had a router before but I can say that it was not as easy to install as this one. Thanks, High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Pocket Router/AP (DWL-G730AP) Fantastic! Took 10 minutes at the most to set up the DWL-G730AP, then plugged in motel room's ethernet cord into back of the unit. In no time I had wireless Internet just as fast as I have at home. This particular motel, which I frequent a lot, has both wired and wireless connections. This is the best of both worlds. I don't have to use a 50-foot ethernet cord in the room and I have SPEED. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. Larry A. Wireless 108G Gaming Router (DGL-4300) I just had to share how extremely happy I am with my purchase of the GamerLounge DGL-4300. I witnessed the true power of this router when I hooked up every port. 2 X Boxes and 2 computers. The 2 game consoles where online playing in separate games and both computers where online, one searching and one watching videos. Everything ran smooth and lag free even on my satellite broadband connection. I am amazed. I didn't think it would do this, this router is excellent and be assured I will tell everyone I know. Kathy S. RangeBooster G Multifunction Print Server (DPR-1260) I was looking for a wireless print server for the HP OfficeJet 6110 that we have been using in our home. The printer was shared via a wireless notebook PC, but often when we needed to print something the PC was not connected to the printer. I was looking at an item from another manufacturer that offered print server and network bridging functionality, but not scanning. I was about to buy it when I found the D-Link DPR-1260. Once installed, it has worked great. I am pleased with the ability to print and scan across the network and the speed is almost as good as being wired. The scan interface even allows me to pick a portion of a document from the Preview Scan window. Amazing. This is an awesome addition to our home network. I have a small home network using a D-Link wireless router and was having trouble getting a good signal to my sons room in the far end of the house. I connected the antenna and now he has an excellent signal and all is working great. The installation could not have been easier and the price was just right. I am a dedicated fan of D-Link and I like the way you stay on the cutting edge. Thanks for all your hard work. Sincerely, Internet Security Adapter (DSD-150) Let me start by saying that I am a father of two very Internet savvy kids. I purchased the D-Link SECURESPOT from my local computer store on July 17, 2006. As of today I have had it up and running for about 4 weeks. I love it! It was easy to install and it performs as advertised. The support teams have been terrific, as I have made a few requests for future updates that they are considering. I think every responsible parent should buy this product immediately, regardless of their computer knowledge. So many families are unaware of how to actually protect their kids from the ugliness that exists on the Internet. In many cases the kids actually know more about the computer than the parents. The D-Link SECURESPOT is a simple to use yet powerful solution for protecting your family. What a true blessing. Thank you D-Link and Bsecure! ***** FIVE STARS ***** Tom V Internet Security Adapter (DSD-150) Having 6 PCs in my home, I was desperately looking to find a network anti-virus/security program that did not have to be installed and set-up on each and every machine. Not to mention the costs that Norton, Symantec, MacAfee and the rest charge for annual renewals. I replaced Norton, Symantec, PC-Cillin and MacAfee programs on my different PCs with this one product [DSD-150], and it covers it all. It gives all the protection as the rest, but with placing only one very "thin client" on each PC to be monitored. Installed quickly (once I figured out I had to download the thin client into each machine off the web), and it's surely nice to monitor and control both adult and children’s PCs from a master console. The Parental Controls are great - and I really like the web site monitoring reports you can get. But the best is covering 4 PCs with the cost of the [SECURESPOT] unit, and small charges for the additional PCs after the first 4. And, I won't have to pay over $250 per year renewal for stand-alone protection! The cost is worth it, but the interface control panel makes it great. Oh, in addition, I like the way my PCs boot MUCH faster now without all of the crud the other softwares placed on each hard drive. Great product! Robert M. Broadband Gigabit Gaming Router (DGL-4100) Well I'd been told by several techs that even if I had a gigabit router that it would make a bit of difference, I'd still get lag and a low ping. Well surprise, surprise since I got my D-Link DGL-4100, goodbye lag and low ping. It does everything you advertise and more. Tech support is a pleasure to deal with and its nice to work with tech's who 1. know their products, 2. are polite and courteous, 3. and give you answers instead of excuses. I love your product and will definitely be telling my fellow gamers about it. Yours truly, I love the DI-524 and DI-604 routers because they allow you to recover quickly. When my girlfriend called up a certain DSL-phone company to fix a problem, the technician totally tore the whole network apart, tossed the router away, forced her to install unneeded software and left the whole thing unoperable. I drove up that weekend, and in 5 minutes had diagnosed the problem, took 1 minute to reinsert the router and restored the whole network to its originally healthy condition. The problem? A combo printer/fax/copier telephone jack malfunctioned, pulling the DSL down. The solution? Only using a D-Link router to restore sanity to an insane situation. Thanks D-Link for getting us up quickly and properly! Randy R. WOW! This thing [DI-634M] is great! I was all set to buy a [competitor's] Pre-N router, I got to the store and ... spent over 30 mins comparing routers. I got this one after thinking it might be best. It really is great! I love the DNS Redirect service login feature it has built in, using Network Magic makes sharing so QUICK! Adding PC's to the MAC filter, and also using the Parental controls are part of one of the best setup interfaces I have dealt with! This thing is a HOMERUN! Todd R. I have been using D-Link wireless networking products for several years with satisfaction and ongoing support from your company (regular updates, detailed user manuals, etc.). A couple of friends selected another well-known brand for their wireless networking routers but they have never been able to set them up! I tried to help them and spent several hours to make things work, but eventually they had to take the right decision: send the other routers back to the manufacturer and select D-Link wireless routers, they could set them up very quickly and are now very happy users. Thanks! Abbe This router [DI-524] saved me a lot of money. It allowed me to create small (4 desktops / 10 laptops (wifi)) SOHO network. It allowed me to get maximum out of my wireless G cards, allowing speed up to 54mbit/s, which really impressed me. I wasn't really sure which router to choose - [competitor] or D-Link, but when I actually got myself this router - I understood - D-Link is good. Jay J. High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Cardbus Adapter (DWL-G630) Love it. Plug it [DWL-G630] in and my dual-boot laptop works happily with it in NetBSD. Al U. After some experiences using another well known brand router with dropped connections and freeze-ups, I decided to try a D-Link DI-634M router. Wow! This router works great! This router has exceeded my expectations so far. I have two computers, one on LAN port 1, the other is WLAN, sharing cable internet. I also have a PAP2 VoIP on LAN port 2. There are several well known brands to choose from, I'm glad I chose to use D-Link. Thank You for offering such a good product. Steven W. Wireless 108AG Gaming Adapter (DGL-3420) Bought the DGL-3420 Wireless Gaming Adapter to use with my Slingbox. Looked at other bridges but decided to go with D-Link product as they install painlessly and work the first time. Range is excellent and I am a happy wireless user of D-Link products. High Speed USB 2.0 5-Port PCI Adapter (DU-520) The 5-port USB 2.0 PCI Adapter has put new life into our old PC. It was $20 well spent. The card allowed us to keep our old PC running and the old software, which will not run on newer PCs, functioning, while giving us access to USB devices like an Optical Mouse, AIO Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax, MP3 Players, etc. The card works VERY well. I am using a DI-524 router and DWL-G510 PCI cards and have an excellent signal across 3 floors in our home. No need for extra power or antennas. D-LINK's constant upgrading of their drivers, even to legacy gear like their DI-524, is an example of their dedication to providing stable, simple to use WI-FI gear for customers.
