Step 1: Open a web browser and type the IPaddress of the firewall into the address bar (default is192.168.1.1). Press Enter.

Step 2: The default username is admin (alllower case) and the password is admin (all lower case). ClickOK.

Step 3: Click on the Maintenance tab and selectBackup from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Click on the Download Configurationbutton, browse for the location you would like to save yourconfiguration to, then click on Save to save the file to thespecified location.

Note: To ensure a successful upload of thesaved configuration file, the file must be uploaded to a firewallthat has the same firmware as the file.
