The DCM-100 is a two-way DOCSIS 1.0 CableLabs certified Ethernet 10BaseT cable modem. The DCM-100 is designed to provide high-speed Internet access over the standard data over cable network. The DCM-100 incorporates a single 10Mpbs Ethernet port. The DCM-100 provides intelligent IP allocation management, which can be configured to work on a Static or DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) network. For security purposes, the DCM-100 provides 56-bit DES (Data Encryption Standard) to encrypt data transaction for both upstream and downstream transmission.
