La serie di Switch DGS-3620 xStack Gigabit L3 Stackable Managed ti dà performance, flessibilità, sicurezza, QoS multi-layer e accessibilità, oltre a diverse soluzioni potenti per piccole e medie imprese. Con le porte Gigabit ad alta densità, Gigabit SFP, il supporto per 10-Gigabit SFP+, e soluzioni software avanzate, questi switch possono fungere sia da device access layer dipartimentali o come switch aggregati per formare un network multilivello strutturato con dorsale e server centralizzati ad alta velocità. I service provider possono avvantaggiarsi degli switch ad alta densità SFP per strutturare l’aggregazione di network FFTB (Fiber to the Building).

Standard ed Enhanced Images
La serie DGS-3620 è dotata di due differenti Software Images: la Standard Image (SI) e la Enhanced Image (EI). La Standard Image fornisce le funzionalità fondamentali per campus ed imprese, come lo switching, routing, multicasting, QoS avanzato, e caratteristiche di sicurezza solide. La Enhanced Image supporta OAM, BGP, IPv6 dynamic routing e tunneling, funzionalità che sono perfette per il network di un service provider.

Flessibilità impareggiabile
Facilmente installabile e semplice da gestire, il DGS-3620 può essere messo in stack con qualsiasi switch che supporti il Single IP Management di D-Link, per formare un network multilivello strutturato con dorsale e server centralizzati ad alta velocità. Lo stack virtuale può includere unità localizzate dovunque all’interno dello stesso dominio, e utilizza uplink opzionali 10-Gigabit per spostare il traffico intra-stack a velocità di 20 Gbps full duplex.
Lo stack può anche eliminare i single point of failure, le limitazioni dello stacking fisico, e il bisogno del cablaggio per lo stack.

Ring Stacking ridondante
In alternativa, gli utenti possono usare 1 o 2 porte 10-Gigabit SFP+ per creare uno stack fisico. 12 unità, o 576 porte Gigabit, possono essere configurate per lo stack, utilizzando cavi diretti per avere una banda elevata con efficienza di costi.

Sicurezza, performance e disponibilità 
La serie DGS-3620 dispone di una serie di caratteristiche di sicurezza, inclusi L2/L3/L4 multi-layer Access Control List e autenticazione utente 802.1x via server TACACS+ e RADIUS. La tecnologia D-Linl ZoneDefense è integrata, e consente alle imprese di combinare lo stack con i firewall D-Link NetDefend per implementare una infrastruttura di sicurezza completa e proattiva.
Questi switch offrono un supporto VLAN esteso, che include GVRP e 802.1Q VLAN per incrementare la sicurezza e le performance. Un valido set di soluzioni L2/L3/L4 QoS/CoS aiuta ad assicurare che i servizi critici del network, come VoIP, ERP, Intranet e le videoconferenze, vengano priorizzati. Questa serie di switch, inoltre, dispone del Safeguard Engine di D-Link per accrescere l’affidabilità e la disponibilità, utili nella prevenzioni di attacchi worms o infezioni di virus. Il Bandwidth Control può essere impostato in maniera flessibile su ogni porta utilizzando soglie predefinite per assicurare il giusto livello di servizio per gli utenti finali. Per applicazioni avanzate, il Bandwidth Control flow-based consente il fine-tuning dei servizi basato su indirizzi IP o protocolli specifici.

Tecnologia IPv6 
Gli switch DGS-3620 dispongono inoltre di un completo supporto IPv6, che include IPv6 Tunnel, ICMPv6, DHCPv6, RIPng, OSPFv3, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, ed altro. Con la connettività 10-Gigabit e il supporto IPv6, permettono di rendere il tuo network a prova di futuro in termini di efficienza di costi e longevità.

Tecnologia D-Link Green
D-Link si batte per essere leader nello sviluppo di tecnologie innovative nel campo del risparmio energetico, senza sacrificare le performance operazionali e le funzionalità. La serie DGS-3620 implementa la tecnologia D-Link Green, che include il power saving attraverso il link status, un design Smart Fan, dissipazione del calore migliorata, e rilevazione della lunghezza dei cavi. La funzione power-saving spegne automaticamente le porte che non presentano alcun link. Il design Smart Fan consente alle ventole di accendersi automaticamente quando viene raggiunta una determinata temperatura, garantendo un’operatività dello switch continua, affidabile ed eco-friendly.
