La serie DXS-3400 di Switch Managed Top-of-Rack 10 Gigabit Stackable di D-Link è composta da modelli compatti e ad alte prestazioni dotati di velocità 10 Gigabit Ethernet, routing e latenza ultra bassa. L'altezza 1U e l'elevata densità di porte rendono la serie DXS-3400 adatta agli ambienti di imprese e campus, dove lo spazio è prezioso. La serie di Switch DXS-3400 include 20 porte 10GBASE-T o 20 porte SFP+ 10G e 4 porte combo 10GBASE-T/SFP+, ecco perché è adatta alle applicazioni data centre, core e distribuzione.

Alta disponibilità e flessibilità

Gli switch della serie DXS-3400 presentano una ventola modulare e un alimentatore adatto ad un'architettura ad alta disponibilità. Il design hot-swap permette la sostituzione delle ventole e degli alimentatori senza interrompere il funzionamento dello switch. Lo stacking fisico e virtuale consente agli switch di essere gestiti da un indirizzo IP singolo e fornire ridondanza ai dispositivi collegati.

Software ricco di funzionalità

Gli switch della serie DXS-3400 includono un software ricco di funzionalità che soddisfa le esigenze degli utenti delle piccole e medie imprese e dei campus. Supporta una vasta gamma di funzioni Layer 2 e 3 come VLAN, routing inter VLAN, multicasting, Quality of Service (QoS), Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), Routing Information Protocol (RIP) v1/2, Next Generation RIP (RIPng), Policy-Based Routing (PBR) e funzioni di sicurezza. La serie DXS-3400 include anche un'interfaccia web di facile utilizzo e un CLI standard di settore per una gestione migliorata.

Ethernet lossless

Il Data Center Bridging (DCB) è una serie essenziale di miglioramenti all'Ethernet per il networking negli ambienti dei data centre. Gli switch della serie DXS-3400 supportano diversi elementi fondamentali del Data Center Bridging (DCB) come IEEE 802.1Qbb, IEEE 802.1Qaz, e IEEE 802.1Qau. L'IEEE 802.1Qbb (controllo del flusso sulla base delle priorità) fornisce il controllo del flusso in base a priorità specifiche per garantire che non vengano persi i dati in caso di congestione alla rete. L'IEEE 802.1Qaz (Selezione migliorata della trasmissione) gestisce l'assegnazione della larghezza di banda tra le differenti classi di traffico. IEEE 802.1Qau (Notifica della congestione) consente di gestire la congestione dei flussi di dati all'interno dei domini della rete per evitare rallentamenti.

Efficienza energetica

Gli switch della serie DXS-3400 presentano un flusso d'aria da davanti a dietro, per facilitare la costruzione di data centre efficienti dal punto di vista energetico. Inoltre, gli switch sono dotati di ventole intelligenti integrate, sensori di calore interni che monitorano e rilevano cambi di temperatura e reagiscono di conseguenza utilizzando differenti velocità della ventola per le diverse temperature. A temperature inferiori, le ventole gireranno più lentamente, riducendo l'assorbimento elettrico e il rumore.
