If you connect directly from your computer to your DSM-G600,using ethernet or wireless, the device will have IP address192.168.0.101. To reach the DSM-G600 you will need to set a staticIP address on your computer, in the 192.168.0.x range.

If you connect through a router with DHCP, the device will getan IP address from the DHCP address range.

If you cannot access the device, you can reset it by holding thebutton 'reset' with a paperclip for 10 seconds.

Note that by resetting, the configuration of DSM-G600reverts to factory defaults, but the hard drive(s) stayintact.
