La gama DXS-3400 Top-of-Rack 10 Gigabit Stackable Managed Switches de D-Link consta de nuevos switches gestionables Layer 3 de alto rendimiento, con apilado físico, conmutación de 10-Gigabit Ethernet y funcionalidades de routing y alta disponibilidad con redundancia avanzada. El formato compacto 1U y la alta densidad de puertos hacen que la serie DXS-3400 sea la solución de Switches 10 GbE adecuada para entornos empresariales o segmentos (como educación en campus universitarios) donde se demandan anchos de banda de 10 GbE para estaciones de trabajo multimedia o centros de datos. Los switches gestionables de la gama DXS-3400 incluyen 20 puertos x 10GBASE-T o 20 x puertos 10G SFP + y 4 puertos 10GBASE-T / SFP + combo, adecuados para centros de datos, aplicaciones de distribución y estaciones multimedia profesionales.

Alta disponibilidad y flexibilidad

Los switches de la serie DXS-3400 cuentan con un ventilador modular y una fuente de alimentación diseñados para una arquitectura redundante de alta disponibilidad. El diseño intercambiable en caliente "hot-swap" significa que los ventiladores y las fuentes de alimentación pueden sustituirse sin afectar al funcionamiento del switch. La posibilidad de apilamiento físico y/o virtual permite que los switches puedan administrarse desde una sola dirección IP y proporcionar redundancia a los dispositivos conectados.

Los switches de la gama DXS-3400 incluyen software e interfaz de gestión para satisfacer las necesidades de toda clase de entornos empresariales, desde grandes corporaciones a centros educativos de cualquier tamaño. La serie de Switches DXS-3400 es compatible con una amplia gama de funciones de Capa 2 y 3 tales como VLAN, enrutamiento entre VLAN, multicasting, Quality of Service (QoS), protocolo de redundancia de router virtual (VRRP), protocolo de información de enrutamiento (RIP) v1/2, la próxima generación de enrutamiento RIP (RIPng), enrutamiento basado en políticas (PBR) y funciones de seguridad. Ethernet sin pérdidas

Data Center Bridging (DCB) es un conjunto esencial de mejoras de Ethernet para redes en entornos de centros de datos. Los switches de la gama DXS-3400 son compatibles con varios componentes básicos de Data Center Bridging (DCB), tales como IEEE 802.1Qbb, IEEE 802.1Qaz, e IEEE 802.1Qau. IEEE 802.1Qbb (control de flujo basado en la prioridad) garantiza que no haya pérdida de datos durante la congestión de la red. IEEE 802.1Qaz (selección de transmisión mejorada) gestiona la asignación del ancho de banda entre las diferentes clases de tráfico. Los switches de la gama DXS-3400 cuentan con flujo de aire front-to-back que facilita la construcción de centros de datos energéticamente eficientes. Los switches también disponen de ventiladores integrados inteligentes y sensores de calor internos que controlan y detectan los cambios de temperatura, y reaccionan en consecuencia con diferentes velocidades del ventilador para diferentes temperaturas. A temperaturas más bajas, los ventiladores funcionan más despacio, lo que reduce el consumo de energía y el ruido del switch.
