Why do I get a notification that states "This device can perform faster" when I connect my USB device to my Windows computer?
The USB port you connected the device to does not support USB2.0. While it will still work, it will not function at fullspeed. To remedy this, try the following:
- plug the device into a USB 2.0 port on your computer
- make sure your drivers for the computer and USB card are up todate
- if using Windows XP, make sure you have Service Pack 2installed
