Treviglio Hospital Trust
The Treviglio Hospital Trust was formed in January 1998 and is comprised of four hospitals in Lombardy, Italy: the Treviglio-Caravaggio hospital in Treviglio, the ‘S.S. Trinità’ hospital in Romano, the ‘F.M. Passi’ hospital in Calcinate and the ‘Ospedale Civile’ in San Giovanni Bianco (BG). In addition to these hospitals, all of which have an inpatient department, there are seven outpatient units that provide health care in the province of Bergamo and also in the neighbouring provinces of Milan, Cremona and Brescia. The Treviglio Hospital Trust also includes two psychiatric units and five neuro-psychiatric units for children, which have approximately 900 beds.
Mission Motorcycles was founded in the 1950s and today is one of the UK’s leading motorcycle dealerships. The problem it faced, however, is that its storefront filled with top-of-the-range motorbikes is a temptation that many thieves just can’t resist. Over the last three years the company has endured three break-ins, the last of which involved five motorbikes valued at least £5,000 each being stolen. In addition, the shop was badly damaged by the determined thieves who were able to enter the dealership despite the fully gated system and CCTV camera surveillance system.
Les Amandiers Hotel
Les Amandiers Hotel, ideally situated in Saint-Raphaël on the Côte d’Azur, France, welcomes many holidaymakers and passing visitors throughout the year. This small business employs four full-time personnel and supplements its staff with a few seasonal workers from April onwards. The former mansion has 10 bedrooms, was fully refurbished in 1998 and offers all mod-cons. The hotel was without any form of night-time security monitoring to protect the premises out of daylight hours.
The Wireless Cowshed
When a cow is milked, it is not humans but machines that do the milking. Fully automatic robots have taken over the manual work and now the farmer need no longer be present in the cowshed when milking takes place.
