How Do I Add Shared Storage Capacity to My Home Network?

Here's How To Do It!
You can quickly and easily add storage to your home network. Network storage alows you to share the following and more between multiple computers in your home:
  • files
  • music
  • videos

A network attached storage device connects to your home network just like a PC. As you can see in the following diagram, the storage device connects directly to your router, then you can assign access to the device for each computer on your network.

In the case of the D-Link DNS-323, you can also attach a USB printer for easy sharing by each PC on the network.
