Tony Tsao Appointed as New Chief Executive Officer and President of D-Link Headquarters; J.C. Liao Retires as Current President

TAIPEI, Taiwan — June 21, 2008 — D-Link Corporation, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumer and business, today announced that its Board of Directors has promoted and appointed Mr. Tony Tsao as the Company's new CEO and President of D-Link Headquarters to resolve the retirement of current President J.C. Liao. D-Link’s new CEO will also continue to serve as head of D-Link International, managing primarily emerging market territories.

The new appointment acknowledges the resignation of Mr. John Lee, current Chairman and CEO, from his CEO position and Mr. J.C. Liao, current President, from his respective position effective July 1, 2008. J.C. joined D-Link's Europe division 12 years ago before serving as President of the corporation in 2003.

Prior to joining D-Link in 1997, Tony Tsao worked at IBM for nearly eight years where he was a manager in charge of channel development in Asia region, followed by another three and half years at Digital Equipment Corporation for SME/channel management in the Asia Pacific region. He received a bachelor degree in industrial management from Ming-Chi Institute of Technology in Taiwan and his master degree in business administration from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago in U.S.A.
