REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Basic Function:
D-Link seeks a Regional Sales Manager covering Service Provider segment with a strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships, and territory planning and segmentation. This role involves positioning and promoting the partner value proposition, leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships in the North America Service Provider space. The ideal candidate possesses strategic technical knowledge and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead an account team focusing one of three areas: Telcos, Cable/MSO, and Mobile.
  • Responsible for an annual booking/revenue quota of about $35M with significant growth in subsequent years.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize D-Link opportunity within the customer environment.
  • Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting.
  • Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment.
  • Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
  • Must be able to lead a sales team and work well with other pre-sales/post-sales teams.
  • Need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities.
  • Responsible for motivating and developing the Account Managers and Sales Engineers, and collaboratively partnering with the Sales Engineering Manager.
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree - MBA or graduate degree preferred.
  • Sales management of a sales organization with 10+ years of sales experience in the Enterprise, Telco and Network Equipment Provider space is preferred.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver on business objectives
  • Specific examples of closing large, strategic deals.
  • Strong leadership skills and selling solutions to large customers with a deep understanding of large account buying cycles.
  • The ability to cope with long lead generation and development while at the same time managing the fast paced weekly sales commit process.

VERTICAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Basic Function:
The primary function of the Vertical Marketing Specialist is to build cohesive marketing plans for selling a range of technology and service solutions into vertical markets, with initial focus in Education, and be responsible for executing strategies to increase market share. This role requires the creation and/or direction of solution-based sales collateral, tool kits, training, and presentations, and responsibility for delivery, acceptance, and usage of materials by sales team to target customers.

DIRECTOR OF FIELD MARKETING

Basic Function:
D-Link Systems is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Director of Field Marketing. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in cross-functional program management and measurement, partner communications, the ability to develop and implement joint marketing plans, and driving new promotional program initiatives. Additionally, the Marketing Director will interact directly with teams in the field and partners while supporting pre-sales efforts and developing high-impact, joint-business plans. The Marketing Director will work closely with the Corporate and Communications Marketing teams to convert company and campaign level objectives into actionable marketing strategies, recommendations, and plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work proactively with Corporate Marketing initiatives to leverage/develop channel marketing program plans that integrate partners as appropriate for driving end-user demand.
  • Communicate and implement all relevant corporate marketing initiatives (e.g., packaged campaigns, promotions, seminars, in-person marketing events, creation of new marketing materials) to our channel partners as a proactive team member to support the achievement of short and long-term revenue objectives.
  • Drive lead management, analysis, and reporting for channel partners

Development Requirements:

Marketing plans

  • Create marketing plans that drive the adoption of the global go-to- market plays that also align to the local sales strategies. Plans will incorporate global programs as well as local activities.

Team management

  • Manages a team of marketing program managers who are each aligned by partner pathway
  • Sets objectives and targets and measures performance

Reporting

  • Responsible for overseeing all responses and feedback for campaigns executed in the region
  • Tracks the flow of leads through the pipeline and works with the local sales teams to ensure follow up and understands the impact of marketing campaigns
  • Completes marketing ROI and monthly reports and works with sales teams to ensure follow up of leads
  • Accountable for the delivery of 'converted opportunities' to the North American sales team as per the targets agreed upon. Also accountable for the performance of all Americas’ marketing activities, providing ROI on budget spends

Budget management

  • Accountable for the budget allocated to marketing activities
  • Maintains budget reporting and tools in line with accounting processes and practices
Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Driving the Business Solutions marketing strategy, working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing, department heads of sales and product development to determine appropriate solutions to be offered in the context of the company’s overall and specific channel strategies.
  • Competitive analysis, overseeing of product launch cycle and effectiveness, strategic analysis and maintaining the company brand by managing Business Solutions public relations, advertising, graphic design, visual and all media communications.
  • Taking ownership of all content for D-Link Business Solutions, markets, and competition to be provided to all sales teams, including sales tools, sales training, video, competitive analysis, collateral, demos, technical marketing labs, product reviews, public relations content and ongoing sales and channel support.
  • Running highly targeted demand generation programs by industry vertical, including lead generation, lead qualification, lead management and working closely with sales team on appointment booking, follow through and success metric definition and reporting.

Qualifications:

FIELD MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER (DMR/CDMR)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct DMR/CDMR marketing activities and programs for key partners
  • Develop and track specific DMR/CDMR programs for key target SKU’s for best ROI of company’s investment

CHANNEL MANAGER

Basic Function:
The candidate will be focused on growing revenue at CDW. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated success record of selling into CDW, creating and maintain account relationships at all levels, establishing and executing sales and product trainings and creating and negotiating marketing plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas
