SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with overseas technical support/engineering teams on product issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve support/product functionality issues with Tech Support, Sales, editors and important customers

SR. STRATEGIC ALLIANCES MANAGER

Basic Function:
The Sr. Strategic Alliances Manager will be responsible for the development of the partnerships and relationships necessary to expand D-Link's business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow and build a win-win relationship with our OEM, Suppliers, Software, and Services partners across a broad line of D-Link products including: Networking, VoIP, Gaming, Digital Home, Business Switches, IP Cameras, etc.

BUSINESS ANALYST

Basic Function:
The main role of the Business Analyst is to document the process flow, and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. (Document both the "As Is" and "To Be" process.)

The Business Analyst is responsible for the Software Requirements Specifications. He/she should be the liaison between the Department Managers/Sponsors and Application Development Group. The Business Analyst should be the functional expert for all of the applications developed by the IT Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with sponsors to obtain approval of the SRS. (Revisions to SRS as necessary.)
  • Interview employees involved in the business process and analyze the business needs and requirements.
  • Create flow charts representing the process flow. (Both the "As Is" and the "To Be" process.)
  • Facilitate meetings will members from applicable departments within the organization in order to discuss the business process and develop IT solutions.
  • Act as liaison between sponsors and developers in order to find answers to questions that arise during the development phase.
  • Create or revise the User Manuals when the applications are completed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 1 to 2 years related exp and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and exp.
  • Excellent writing skills required. Experience doing Technical Writing (including process flow charts) also required.
  • Full SDLC experience required.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Ability to work with demanding customers.

TECHNICAL MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Basic Function:
The Technical Marketing Internship at D-Link Systems will involve all aspects of technical marketing at both the corporate and product levels. PRODUCT MANAGER

Basic Function:
The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and project management. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

FIELD SALES SYSTEMS ENGINEER – NORTHEAST TERRITORY

Basic Function:
We are looking for an individual that resides in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island or New Jersey. This individual will work out of his/her home office and provide support to D-Link clients in the Northeastern United States.

Qualifications:

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The individual's primary duty is to provide phone and email support for high-end / Business Class Networking hardware and peripherals including: routers, managed switches, and high volume iSCSI storage. This is not an IT help desk position. This position provides support for corporate IT departments and end-users for the products D-Link manufactures.
  • A component of managed-switch support consists of assisting customers to configure products using VLAN, LAG and routing functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Cold Call and leverage existing relationships with Tier 1 and 2 Cable Providers to initiate and close new sales opportunities of D-Link branded products. (i.e. networking products, storage, IP cameras, IP phones etc.)

  • On-going management of account relationships to include but not be limited to managing the evaluation/approval processes, gaining ongoing, consistent sales, customer communication, problem resolution, contract negotiations, order fulfillment coordination etc.

  • Communicate with D-Link Accounts Receivable and when necessary, liaison with customer to make sure D-Link is receiving invoice payments in a timely manner.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer will work alongside the sales team to gather customer requests and then work with the Engineers and Project Managers to define product specifications and take viable projects from start to completion

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues as they arise

PRODUCT MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Basic Function:
The Product Marketing Intern at D-Link Systems will obtain hands on experience in the various stages of a product’s lifecycle. This intern will play a key role in the exchange of product information amongst multiple departments. Working and learning under the supervision of a Product Marketing veteran and other professional team members, the intern will be exposed to the daily responsibilities of a fast-moving, exciting company with many award-winning, technologically-advanced products.

This is a part time internship. Ideally, candidates will be available to start working in May and continue throughout the summer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product Marketing Team and multiple D-Link departments to ensure that product-marketing programs and information posted online are accurate.
  • Work with internal Channel Specialists to ensure that they have the most recent and up- to-date information on all D-Link products.
  • Provide administrative assistance and scheduling support to the Product Marketing Team on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

  • Current sophomore or junior level status at a local college.
  • Current enrollment in Marketing related classes preferred.
  • Availability to work approximately 15-20 hours a week between the hours of 9:00 and 6:00 Monday through Friday (schedule can be flexible based on class schedule).
