Access Network

Moving to the upper layer after the premises network is the access network. D-Link offers layer-2/3 Ethernet switches as a reliable termination point for each of the services delivered by the service provider for an access network. D-Link solutions for access networks include features, such as:

  Network segmentation allows the service provider to group customers into different network segments based on their service level for easier network management and service delivery.
• User Authentication and Network Security
  At the access network, D-Link provides user authentication and network security features to eliminate unauthorised users and malicious traffic before it reaches the core network.
