Graphic Production Artist (Graphic Designer)

Position Overview:

Are you a results-oriented and detailed-minded Graphic Production Artist that enjoys a fast-paced work environment?

The Graphic Production Artist will deliver on graphic production requirements for the Consumer Sales and Business Solutions Divisions. This position requires experience and a high level of competence in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite of Software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Packaging production experience is essential. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of print production processes, web production, colour correction, photography and design principles. Experience in 3D rendering is an asset. Video production and editing experience is an asset.


  • Design/layout/update product packaging and documentation (Gift Box, Manual, CD, QIC);
  • Design/layout/update advertisements, technical documentation, brochures, product data sheets and illustrations;
  • Design/layout of web banners and graphic elements of emails and other digital communication assets;
  • Create visuals for presentations and whitepapers;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years in Packaging production;
  • 5+ years of hands-on design experience with a keen eye for detail, consistency, typography, design and colour;
  • Must have Mac experience and be proficient in the following: In Design, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Power Point;
  • Experience with PMS and 4-colour printing techniques and image resolution;
  • Experience with 3D rendering software is an asset;
  • Experience in video production and editing is an asset;
  • Ability to read and write in French is an asset;
  • Must have a positive, enthusiastic and dedicated attitude;
  • Able to shift priorities on the fly to meet business needs;
  • Able to multi-task and complete projects under tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Graphic Arts, Packaging Design or comparable program.
