Account Manager

Mississauga, Ontario - Canada

Position Overview:

D-Link currently has an opening for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our Consumer Sales team. This position provides a high level of sales support to pre-determined dealer accounts with the objective of meeting the territory quota on a monthly basis. Sales support to these accounts includes: launching of promotional programs and monthly pricing programs, administrative support to process orders and manage special price programs, inventory field management, maintaining positive relations with assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales process for all customers in assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing staff and sales dealers in assigned territories
  • Actively recommend, launch sales and marketing programs such as seasonal pricing or other promotional offers
  • Monitor market share data with accounts and work towards increasing share within your assigned accounts
  • Participate in trades shows for assigned territory and assist with other events that may not directly relate to your territory
  • Provide sales training to assigned accounts and to ensure a high level of knowledge on D-Link products
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5 + years previous sales experience
  • Post secondary education
  • Good understanding of personal computers and networking
  • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Positive and high energy attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Comfortable with traveling 15% - 20% of the time
