Position Overview:
D-Link currently has an opening for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our Consumer Sales team. This position provides a high level of sales support to pre-determined dealer accounts with the objective of meeting the territory quota on a monthly basis. Sales support to these accounts includes: launching of promotional programs and monthly pricing programs, administrative support to process orders and manage special price programs, inventory field management, maintaining positive relations with assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales process for all customers in assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing staff and sales dealers in assigned territories
- Actively recommend, launch sales and marketing programs such as seasonal pricing or other promotional offers
- Monitor market share data with accounts and work towards increasing share within your assigned accounts
- Participate in trades shows for assigned territory and assist with other events that may not directly relate to your territory
- Provide sales training to assigned accounts and to ensure a high level of knowledge on D-Link products
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5 + years previous sales experience
- Post secondary education
- Good understanding of personal computers and networking
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
- Strong negotiations skills
- Positive and high energy attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Professional presentation skills
- Comfortable with traveling 15% - 20% of the time
