PoE Wireless Access Points

Power, control and managed your wireless network

Power-over-Ethernet support on wireless access points greatly simplified the installation. It provides greater flexibility where you can mount a wireless access point, even where there is no access to a power socket. As it is powered and connected using one cable, you can also easily control and managed the wireless access point through a PoE switch. PoE connectivity also allows you to further secure your network by powering down wireless access point outside normal working hours.

Standalone Wireless Access Points

D-Link's Standalone Wireless Access Points are designed to support small to medium business or enterprise environments by providing network administrators with secure and manageable dual-band wireless LAN options, and utilising the cutting-edge speed of the latest wireless technologies. To maximise total return on investment, the these access points can be configured to optimise network performance based on any one of its multiple operation modes: Access Point, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) with Access Point, WDS/Bridge (No AP Broadcasting), and Wireless Client.

With high data transmission speeds and a load balancing feature, D-Link Unified Wireless Access Points offers high-quality and reliable wireless service. Versatile and powerful, they can be flexibly deployed as a standalone wireless access point or as a managed access point controlled by a D-Link Unified Switch (DWS-3160/DWS-4026) or Wireless Controller (DWC-1000). Businesses can start with standalone mode deployment, then migrate to a centrally managed system anytime later.
