500 Watt Redundant Power Supply for D-Link Managed Switches

DPS-600

  • Product Status (Revision A): End of Life
Description
  • For use with DWS-30xx, DWS-40xx, DES-3528P

The D-Link® 500 Watt Redundant Power Supply (DPS-600) is designed to deliver the power required to guarantee that your D-Link switch (such as the DES-3828P and the DXS-3227P) and all attached Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices will remain active in the case of a single inadvertent internal power supply failure.

The failure of an internal power supply in a switch can cause network and device downtime, which translates into inefficiency. The DPS-600 provides a safety net against this problem by utilizing an integrated detection circuit to continuously monitor the switching device’s internal power supply. In the event of a power interruption or failure, the redundant power supply will immediately be triggered to supply power to the switch and any attached devices.

The deployment of the DPS-600 to an Ethernet switch does not require any changes in the configuration of your network. This device can be connected to any AC main power source from 90VAC to 264VAC and 47Hz to 63Hz through a standard three-pronged AC power cable. This 500 Watt Redundant Power Supply is also rackmountable, enabling you to place it near the switch.
