D-Link has unveiled its revolutionary 4G LTE Router that will enable 4G subscribers to share their mobile data connection to provide connectivity to multiple devices.

The new D-Link 4G LTE Router (DWR-921) will give users without high-speed fixed-line services an alternative; similarly, remote offices and small businesses can implement a fail-safe Internet solution on their existing fixed line service with 4G as an automatic back-up connection.

The D-Link 4G LTE Router can be easily setup to work with all major 4G mobile operators. Simply insert your 4G SIM card and select your mobile operator within the setup wizard. Wireless N and built-in Ethernet network connectivity allows for multiple devices to connect and share the Internet connection, negating the need to register them as separate devices with the operator.

The LTE router is equipped with the latest network security, to help prevent unauthorised use of the bandwidth. This makes it a more viable option for businesses. The capability to implement 4G connectivity as an alternative or failsafe to fixed-line services is a unique risk-mitigation strategy for small businesses.

LTE, or long-term evolution, is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals.
